Features of CJV300-160plus

With the latest Mimaki Advanced Pass System (MAPS4), the new CJV300-160plus enables high quality printing at a faster printing speed. This high-performance inkjet print & cut printer comes equipped with eco-solvent ink, offering both ecological and economical benefits. Adding barcodes in the lay-out of print & cut jobs for uninterrupted workflow is now also fully supported by our RIP software Rasterlink6 Plus.

Choose between solvent or dye sublimation

• From text and illustrations to photographs, the combination of Mimaki’s unique inkjet technology and solvent ink delivers vibrant high quality print results

Dye sublimation

• The combination of fast drying water based sublimation ink and Mimaki inkjet technology produces beautiful, high-quality vibrant colour printing on polyester fabrics

600ml eco pack

SS21 ink is now available in eco-friendly 600ml packs

• The new SS21 600ml ink pack reduces ink costs by approximately 15% compared to the previous 440ml packs
• Higher ink capacity reduces the need to replace the cartridge, making it efficient and economical
• Mimaki eco cases are reusable for the larger 600ml ink bags
• 600ml packs are available in CMYK only, but can be combined with 440ml cartridges of other colours

Stunning quality with SS21 inks

SS21 with orange ink

• Newly formulated SS21 orange ink, SPC‐0501Or‐2, provides a wider colour gamut range, enabling higher colour accuracy, better vibrancy, smoother image gradations and greater outdoor durability
• Covering approx. 94.8% of the PANTONE coated colour chart, 7% more compared to 4C
• The large colour gamut makes it possible to reproduce more corporate colours

SS21 with light black ink

• High quality monochrome colour reproduction with the new Light-Black ink
• High colour balance without colour shifting, reproducing high quality, smooth grey output

SS21 high density white ink

• Vivid colour printing on transparent/coloured media, by under-laying white ink before printing the colours
• Higher opacity is attained by using a larger ink droplet

SS21 high density silver ink

• 1.6 times brighter than conventional silver inks for brilliant and beautiful mirrored effects
• Even after a three-year acceleration test, the brightness is better than initial value of ES3

Metallic Colour Collection

• SS21 silver ink can be used alone or mixed with other ink colours for a multitude of metallic effects
• SS21’s metallic colour collection contains 648 colors that are easily printed using the RIP software, RasterLink6 Plus
• From the printed metallic colour collection, an operator may then select a metallic colour from the Illustrator swatches
• 3-type Metallic Color Collections are available
• The “Orange Ink Edition” has been added to SS21. With the CMYKrLk + WSi Metallic Colour Collection, there are 108 different red/orange colours available for a more realistic expression of metallic colours

Greater versatility in print quality

Larger ink drop

• 3 different drop sizes are automatically selected from 7 drop sizes, depending on the selected print quality (profile)
• When working with SS21, the 7 drop sizes are 4pl,7pl,8pl,14pl,16pl,24pl and 35pl
• For high speed printing with high densities, the variable dot technology with a maximum dot size of 35pl is used for the highest productivity of 105.9m²/h with SS21/BS4, and 112.5m²/h with Sb54
• This gives the printer a wide coverage, from high resolutions with high qualities to low resolution printing, with higher densities

White ink with Mimaki Circulation Technology (MCT)

Automatic Wiper Cleaning

• The rest ink on the wiper is automatically removed during the cleaning procedure of the print head

• All crop marks are automatically and continuously detected
• Cutting stays highly accurate, also on full width and length
• Compensates distortion of print media

Zero margin cropmarks

• Media usage is reduced by shorter margin between crop marks
• Less crop marks to be detected will speed up cutting process

Wide variety of print and cut functions

• Half cut / Die cut / Dotted Line cut – selectable depending on application
• Overcut – Makes a cross cut at the start and end positions so the finished piece has sharp edges with no undercut fragments. Is effective when cutting thick or sticky media as well as the ones easy to bend
• Corner cut – Edge of blade overlaps at other corners so that corners are cut sharp
• Cut & Print – Thin media such as heat transfer media is cut without drying time required
• Automatic media clamp function – Pinch roller pressure is automatically changed at 4 levels (High/Middle/Low/OFF). Feed media at the best pressure for each print and cut to deliver fine quality. Full automatic function enables unattended operation without manual intervention from the start of printing to the end of cutting
